What is the Peddinghaus PeddiBot-1200 used for?
The PeddiBot-1200 is a 6-axis robotic CNC thermal cutting machine built for structural steel fabrication. It plasma cuts and layout marks beam, tube, channel, and angle profiles — as well as plate — on all four sides in a single setup, handling copes, holes, weld prep bevels, slots, and part marking for beam lines and fabrication shops.
What plasma torch and robot does the PeddiBot-1200 use?
This 2022 unit is equipped with a Kjellberg HiFocus 440i plasma torch rated at 440 amps, mounted on a 6-axis Stäubli robot arm. It includes Raptor 3D CAD/CAM software integration, a profile scanning system, trailing edge detection, and machine housing for clean, accurate cutting and 4-sided layout marking.
What material sizes can the PeddiBot-1200 process?
Profiles range from a minimum of 3" x 3" up to a maximum of 48" x 16.5", with material thickness from 3/16" to 2" and a maximum profile weight of 26,455 lbs (12,000 kg). It also processes plate up to 48" wide x 120" long within a 48" x 59" effective cutting zone, with bevels up to 45°.
